Jean And Her Dolls 2012
Would be the title of a short about a young lady who goes off to Wellesley, prompted by her parents who want her to have access to success-driven boys who come from "old money."
But in the 21st century that more "shady" heretofore not discussed side of such instituions dominates. Jean instead winds up on the basketball team, and has pictures of Eleanor Roosevelt all over her room; develops "close" friendships with frowsy young ladies who hate boys, think that marriage is slavery, and teach Jean everything she needs to know about parts of her anatomy she doesn't even know she has.
10 years later, she decides one day that all those bitch fights aren't really worth the trouble, and bring no substantial wealth; so she finds a metro boy from Boston with flat affect, old money and a business degree. Big wedding with bridesmiads that look like wrestlers, and happy parents look on. End of film. Credits roll.
Out of touch.

Kid Life in 1952
A just for fun film about a girl, her friend, her dolls and her bratty brother who defaced her doll and when she showed her mother they all took off after the brother. Shows a typical episode of kids at play in mid 20th century. It is a silent film with a narrator telling the story like she's reading a primer. Looks like it was filmed somewhere around LA.
